Paul Edward Hewitt worked as a tailor in a suburb to London, in the beginning of the 20th century. After falling in love with a young woman from Germany, he emigrated to Oldenburg (northern part of Germany), where he opened up a men's clothing store with a perfect mix of British gentleman style and North German sense of quality. More than a century later, his great-grandson created this brand, inspired by him; with the entire identity based upon the tailor and his approach to his profession.

Paul Hewitt's vision is to create minimalistic watches based on the North German essence. Tradition, consistency and original craftsmanship is reflected in the design and production of the watches from Paul Hewitt.
