Modern Design Approach

Taking a closer look at the exterior design of a Casio Edifice watch reveals daring and fascinating details. The Edifice line combines simple shapes, that highlights the essence of metal, with unique details, that highlights the boldness of the design - It is the ideal symbol for the man who knows who he is and who isn’t afraid to live in the moment. 

For a each new Edifice model, a prototype is manufactured. The prototype comes to life through a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) sketch and a 3D printer. Through this approach, every new Edifice watch is evaluated and re-designed until the final concept takes shape. The concept is translated to fully functioning Edifice watch by adding a bold watch index, thus, emphasizing the strong robust design. Finally, a resin watch face dial is added to solidify the metal look and quality of the watch.

Quality Production

A fundamental value for the Edifice line is that the materials used for watch production supports both look and quality. This means that all materials used have to be strong, functional and look good. This is why Casio uses both hu-tech production technologies and expert watch makers to reach this goal. In addition, every watch is expertly polished by hand by a watchmaker before it is made available for sale.
