Seiko Prospex-watches

Prospex is a collection from , who created their first diver's watch already in 1965. This was to satisfy the needs of a professional diver in Hiroshima prefecture, who needed a watch that wouldn't get damaged on depths greater than 300 meters. After years of research and development, Seiko presented their first diver's watch: Titanium case & 600m. Since then, development has continued and in the Prospex collection, the diver's watches are now adventurer's watches: just as reliable and perfect no matter the elements... sea, land, air. Excellence everywhere, and with a long collaboration with PADI, you can rest assured that they are reliable diver's watches.
The name of the collection: ”Prospex” is a contraction of: “Professional Specifikations”, which symbolizes the high specification-demands. This applies to durability, precision, water resistance as well as general performance. Prospex is the perfect adventurer's watch. Many of the models keeps being inspired by the classic diver's watches from the early years, in Seiko's history of iconic diver's watches. Wonderful design!
All the watches in this collection are equipped with Seiko's in-house clockworks, produced in their own factories (in Japan), no matter if they are kinetic, automatic or solar clockworks. Japanese precision and craftsmanship, and of course... all Prospex watches has screw crown (to prevent water from entering the watch). The quality of the watch is reflected in the price, so consider what your money can get you – before considering a cheaper, mechanical watch. Seiko brings you quality and function, that will be with you for many, many years!
